Reimitz Sangiovese Rosso Toscana IGT 2016

So Reimitz 2016 is finally released.

There is simply one wine that expresses how elegant Sangiovese can be when in the hands of a master. Klaus created Le Pergole Torte together with Sergio Manetti many, many years ago, and it is clearly visible here.

Good power, very rich and many nuances.

2016 is well balanced so far by his wines and it shows what 2016 has to offer.

Perfect balance and sweet tannins.

27 months on a piece of 30 hl. dish.

The field's name is Boronzky, named after Klaus Reimitz's great-grandmother Tamaro von Bronzky. The canes were planted in 1992.
