Lucien Muzard & Fils Bourgogne Rouge 2022

The field is located below the Maranges hill, on the border between Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet. The soil is rich in clay and limestone.

The grapes are harvested by hand and the majority are de-stemmed, only about 30% remain whole bunches. Fermentation is achieved only with natural yeast and lasts approximately 15-20 days.

Aged in oak barrels, of which 15 to 20% are new. Part of the cuvée is also matured in larger vats.

A lovely fresh and balanced wine with lots of red berries in both aroma and taste, which is enjoyed well even at a young age.
