Collection: La Collina Blu

La Collina Blu is an extra virgin olive oil created with passion and dedication by Åsa Johansson, her husband Stefano. With deep roots in Tuscany – and a touch of Scandinavia, as Åsa grew up in Stockholm – they produce an oil that unites craftsmanship, history and pure enjoyment.
The name La Collina Blu is inspired by the magical blue light that falls over the family's Tuscan hill at sunset. A quiet moment where the colors of nature dance and the day lets go. It is this moment that Åsa and Stefano have fallen in love with – and it is this peace and beauty that they want to capture in every drop of their oil.
La Collina Blu is made from the classic Tuscan olive varieties leccino, frantoio and moraiolo, which are hand-picked and cold-pressed immediately after harvest. The rapid processing ensures an extra virgin olive oil with a vibrant freshness, a scent of freshly cut grass and an elegant, peppery finish – just like an authentic Tuscan olive oil should taste.
A particular strength of La Collina Blu is that the family owns their own oil mill. Stefano is a producer of olive mills. This means they have full control over the process from olives to finished oil – a rare luxury even in Tuscany. With this gentle and meticulous production, they create an oil of unsurpassed quality, where terroir and craftsmanship are allowed to shine through.
The bottle label was created by artist Francesco Giani, a close friend of the family. The design is inspired by the patterns and structures of the landscape where the olive trees grow, but it also contains a personal story. Originally from Stockholm, Åsa has brought her own story to the project, and the lines of the label are reminiscent of the high-rise apartment buildings in her childhood town – a small nod to the journey that took her from Sweden to Tuscany.
La Collina Blu is only produced in small quantities, making it a rare treat.
La Collina Blu is not just an olive oil – it is a story of passion, tradition and the best of two worlds. An oil that brings the warmth and intensity of Tuscany to your table, with a touch of the Scandinavian love of quality and simplicity.
