The Istine winery is located in Radda in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, and is owned by the Fronti family.
The winery's history began as a dream to create wines that represent the unique terroir, and since 2009 they have been doing so under their own name.
Their vineyards are located at altitudes that reach up to 500 meters, which gives the wines a special freshness and minerality.
The vines grow in stony, calcareous soil, and the sangiovese grape is at the heart of their production.
They grow organically and focus on wines that reflect the authentic character of the Chianti region.

The winemaking at Istine is driven by a deep respect for tradition, but with an eye for innovation. All work in the vineyards and in the cellar is carried out with care to preserve the unique expression and character of the grapes.
