Il Molino di Grace, a fascinating vineyard in Greve in Chianti, established by Frank Grace in the 1990s with a simple but deeply passionate vision: to capture the essence of the stony terroir and the exquisite sangiovese grapes in every bottle of wine.

The winery has 20 hectares of vineyards that have been dedicated to the production of traditional Chianti Classico wines for more than 350 years. These fields were originally tended by the monks from the nearby monastery and have since won great respect among wine producers and enthusiasts alike worldwide.

Il Molino di Grace is not only famous for its exceptional wine production, but also for its artistic atmosphere. The old, historic mill stands as a landmark on the property, but the most impressive sculpture is undoubtedly the 9 meter high statue of San Francesco, which majestically towers over the rolling vineyards. This statue symbolizes a deep respect for the land and the people who have worked and continue to work in the rocky Galestro soil.

The founders of Il Molino di Grace have managed to create a harmonious balance between traditional winemaking and modern, organic practices. With the help of talented oenologist Franco Bernabei, the winery produces a range of exquisite wines including Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG and the magnificent Gratius IGT. Gratius IGT in particular, a super Tuscan, grown on an old steep field in Greve in Chianti, has garnered great recognition and already obtained the prestigious 3 glasses of Gambero Rosso at its first release in the year 2000.

Since 2014, Il Molino di Grace has proudly been able to call itself certified biodynamic, a recognition of their commitment to respect and protect nature while continuing to create wonderful wines.
