Tabarrini Sagrantino di Montefalco Campo Alla Cerqua DOCG 2017

Here from the field Campo alla Cerqua located 400 meters above sea level. South-east facing field of 0.8 ha planted in 1997.

The field is named after a large old oak tree that stands on the field.

This wine is definitely the most elegant of all three single vineyard wines. The first vintage of the wine was 2006.

After harvest and fermentation, the wine has been aged for 3 years in a large Garbelotto cask.

The wine still has big fruit and strong tannins, but here it is all wrapped up in greater elegance.
