Pacherhof Valle Isarco Sylvaner Riserva Alte Reben DOC 2020

The absolute top wine from Andreas Huber. He knows something about sylvans. Sylvaner, together with Kerner, are the grapes that in the small Valle Isarco appellation produce wines that are recognized as the best from Italy. The grapes come from 46-year-old vines situated at an altitude of 620 - 670 meters above sea level. The subsoil is moraine, slate and quartz.

After harvesting the last week of October, the wine has fermented and matured for 9 months in 12 hl oak casks, after which the wine was bottled in January 2022, where it has been left for 15 months before release,

Particularly elegant. Full body white wine with great structure. Tropical scents and tones of honeydew melon, pear and other bright fruits.

Suitable for main courses, lobster and grilled fish. Also has the body to go with e.g. veal.
