Lorens (Lorenzo in Piedmontese) is Lodali's line of riserva wines. This is the Barolo of the series. The grapes come exclusively from the Sant'Ambrogio field, and a special selection is made so that only the best grapes are used for Lorens.
The result is a Barolo with an intense deep ruby red, almost garnet red color. The nose is fine and complex with elegant notes of plum. It is a powerful and balanced wine with a long aftertaste.
Lorens Barolo is aged for 24 months in French barriques and six months in the bottle before release.

The Lodali 2018 Barolo Lorens is a lithe and delicate expression from an undertone vintage. The wine shows fine berry aromas with spice, tar, licorice and dried blue flower or violet. The wine falls over the palate with good intensity, power and freshness too.
