Castell'in Villa Chianti Classico Riserva IN DOCG 2016

The Princess's 2016 Riserva, which has now come on the market 1 year after the 2016 Brunello di Montalcino.

When you choose to age the wine for 4 years in large casks and one year in steel, it simply cannot come out sooner.

It must be compared to great Brunellos, as that is the level we are at.

Absolutely fantastic Sangiovese expression with great elegance and adequate power. The wine, like all wines from Castell'in Villa, is cool in style.

No taste of fad here. Balance and acidity in a special class, and the wine has the durability of a great Brunello di Montalcino.

The sticks are from the mid-1960s.
