Barone Pizzini Golf 1927 Franciacorta DOCG

In 1927 Baron Edoardo Pizzini founded one of the first golf courses in Italy. Franciacorta Golf 1927 honors the innovative spirit with its feminine golf figure. Innovation is a clear foundation of value at Barone Pizzine, who were the first to produce organic wine from Franciacorta.

100% Chardonnay. From vineyards located in the municipalities; Provaglio d'Iseo, Passirano, Corte Franca and Capriol.

All at 200-350 meters above sea level.

The soil is deep moraine soil with lots of fossils and sandy deposits.

The grapes undergo a gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Aging also takes place in stainless steel for a minimum of 8 months. Refinement in bottle with yeast for 20 - 30 months

Alcohol 12%, Residual sugar 4.6 g/l, Acid content: 8.0 g/l

Serve chilled in large glasses, as an aperitif or as a light starter.
