Collection: Sicilia Rosso IGT
Sicilia Rosso IGT is an Italian classification that includes red wine produced in Sicily. The wine must meet the following requirements in order to carry this classification:

Geographical area: The wines must be produced within the geographical boundary of the island of Sicilia.

Grape types: The wine must be produced from a minimum of 85% from the following grapes: Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Frappato and/or Syrah. There may also be a mixture of other authorized grapes, but not more than 15%.

Alcohol percentage: The wine must have an alcohol percentage of between 11% and 14%.

Aging: The wine must mature for at least 3 months before it is released for sale.

Analysis: The wine must be examined for a number of parameters, including sugar content, acidity, tannins and colour, and must meet the set limit values.
The wine producers must follow these requirements closely in order to obtain the classification Sicilia Rosso IGT, and the wines bearing this classification must be of high quality and represent the typical style and taste of Sicily.
