Vigna Loreta er en elegant og kompleks Brunello di Montalcino - opkaldt efter den ene af Mastrojannis to ejendomme i Montalcino.

Farven er intens, nærmest gennemsigtig, rubinrød og man fornemmer tydeligt de fristende noter af frugt og blomster, friske
krydderurter og lakrids når man får vinen i glasset.

Smagen er potent med silkebløde tanniner og der afsluttes med en lang og kraftig eftersmag. En vin man bør nyde i godt selskab for til fulde at værdsætte dens elegance.

Lagres i 36 måneder på Allier egetræsfade efterfulgt af seks til otte måneder på flaske i Mastrojannis kælder.

Another excellent interpretation from this historical winery. Aromas of plum and laurel on the nose, a hint of bay leaf on the finish. Saltiness in the mouth and salty long-lasting closing.

The Vigna Loreto, located on the slope in front of the Mastrojanni winery, is the estate's showpiece vineyard, not only because it is positioned in full view of incoming visitors but also because of its ideal southeast-facing exposures. It is 1.58 hectares in size and has pebbles and tufo. The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto (with 8,000 bottles produced) is awash in sunlight and Tuscan luminosity, resulting in a ripe and fruit-forward Brunello that never shies away in terms of richness or intensity. Indeed, the wine delivers a special level of power that transcends the bouquet and the palate, resulting in dark fruit, spice, leather, cured tobacco and rosemary essence. The tannins are firm but integrated and otherwise tucked into the ample flesh of the wine

The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto wafts up with a gorgeous display of crushed stone, graphite and exotic savory spices before giving way to citrus-tinged cherries, cinnamon and clove. It’s silky-smooth and medium in body with a weighty density to its polished yet compact dark red and black fruits, all perfectly framed by juicy acids. Minerals, spiced orange and purple inner florals amass toward the close, as fine tannins slowly saturate, creating a dry yet wonderfully balanced expression through the finale.
